466 teachers selected for transfers to Phnom Penh public schools
Let’s explore this page together
Existing teachers moving within the public system
The selection was for serving civil-service teachers seeking a move from public institutions elsewhere in Cambodia. It covers preschool, primary, lower secondary and upper secondary education.
TVK's report, which includes comments from a Ministry of Civil Service official, says 365 positions remained after the selection. The interministerial committee plans to invite reserve candidates to apply through a further procedure.

Parents still need details from their chosen school
The announcement does not establish when all 466 teachers will begin teaching. It gives families no school-by-school timetable from which to judge changes to their child's lessons.
Families considering a public school can ask which subjects and year groups will receive teachers and when those changes will take effect. Language of instruction, a place for the child and admission requirements need separate confirmation with that school. An overall transfer total cannot show whether a particular class will become smaller.
