Borey SSC
Borey SSC has a small public footprint centred on a landed-housing development in Siem Reap rather than a broad, well-documented developer portfolio. The sources reviewed do not clearly identify the legal company behind the brand, its registration number or ownership structure, so buyers should distinguish the project name from the entity that actually signs the sale and development documents.
A company name is not a recommendation. Check the project company, contract and selected unit before reservation.
Overview
Borey SSC has a small public footprint centred on a landed-housing development in Siem Reap rather than a broad, well-documented developer portfolio. The sources reviewed do not clearly identify the legal company behind the brand, its registration number or ownership structure, so buyers should distinguish the project name from the entity that actually signs the sale and development documents.
Track record
Knight Frank's H2 2021 Siem Reap review listed “SSC Borey” as a 200-unit project in the future housing pipeline. The same report separately recorded “SSC Residence” with 61 completed houses, so the two names should not be treated as the same development or track record without supporting documents. Later rental listings show completed homes in Borey SSC, but a verified phase-by-phase completion history or a wider developer portfolio was not found in the public sources reviewed.
Segments and prices
An older project listing marketed flat houses and shophouses from USD 58,800, with the scheme positioned mainly for Cambodia's middle-income local buyer segment. The listing was last updated around 2021, so the figure is useful only as historical launch-era pricing and should not be read as a current quote.
Geography
The strongest location evidence places Borey SSC in Svay Dangkum, Siem Reap: both the project listing and an IPS Cambodia rental listing use that location. Older aggregator metadata also contains conflicting references to Sala Kamreuk and Banteay Srei. For a purchase, the cadastral parcel and the address on the title matter more than the marketing location label.
Reliability and public record
Public evidence supports the existence of the development and completed homes within Borey SSC, but developer-level transparency remains limited. The historical status data is also inconsistent: one portal shows both 40% construction progress and a 2021 completion year, while Knight Frank still counted SSC Borey in the future pipeline at the end of 2021. That does not by itself indicate a project problem, but it means current completion status should be verified from primary documents rather than old portal records.
What to verify
Before paying a reservation, obtain the full legal name and registration details of the entity acting as seller and developer, then match that entity to the land documents and construction approvals. For the specific house, verify the cadastral parcel, title type and registered owner, encumbrances, the completion status of the relevant phase, and responsibility for roads, drainage and shared infrastructure. A portal labels the development as having hard title, but that does not give a foreign buyer direct land ownership: Cambodian law reserves land ownership to Khmer nationals and Khmer legal entities, so any lawful lease or other land-use structure should be reviewed independently before signing.

Are Borey SSC and SSC Residence the same project?
This is not publicly confirmed. Knight Frank listed SSC Residence as 61 completed houses and separately listed SSC Borey as a 200-unit future project in the same report. Unless the developer provides documents linking the names, they should be treated as separate records.
Is Borey SSC fully completed?
The public record is not strong enough to make that claim. Listings confirm that completed homes exist, but historical progress and completion data conflict. A buyer should verify the current status of the exact phase and house being offered.
Can a foreigner buy a Borey SSC house together with the land?
A foreigner cannot directly own Cambodian land. If the property includes a land parcel, the buyer needs to verify a lawful land-use arrangement, such as a properly documented long-term lease; a marketing reference to land title does not remove the foreign-ownership restriction.
What does a Borey SSC home cost now?
The reviewed public sources do not provide a reliable current price. An older listing started from USD 58,800, but it has not been updated for roughly five years, so current pricing should be checked against a specific available unit and its documents.
