The Peninsula Capital Co., Ltd
The Peninsula Capital Co., Ltd is a Cambodian private legal entity publicly associated primarily with the Vue Aston mixed-use development on Koh Norea. An archived corporate record supports its 2018 incorporation, but no fresh extract or current ownership chart was found. Its verified public portfolio is limited to Vue Aston, whose components have entered operation in phases.
The Peninsula Capital was incorporated in Cambodia in December 2018 and concentrated almost its entire public history in Vue Aston on Koh Norea. It is one large project combining homes, offices, retail and a planned Citadines serviced residence.
With no broad portfolio, the company is judged through the delivery sequence of a single asset: topping-out, bridge opening, apartment handover, amenity launch and the future start of the hospitality component.
The location changed during construction
Vue Aston is a 38-storey riverfront tower designed by HKS, with many apartments oriented towards Mekong and Bassac views. The project received PropertyGuru recognition for architecture, condominium development and its waterfront concept in 2021 and 2022.
The tower topped out in December 2022. In November 2023, the Koh Pich–Koh Norea bridge opened and materially improved access from the central city. Few developments experience such a major change in surrounding infrastructure between launch and handover.
Phased inspections and handovers began in June 2024. The infinity pool and Sky Gym opened in the summer of 2025. The property has entered residential operation, although not every component started at the same time.
Citadines remains the unfinished part of the idea
Ascott lists the 140-unit Citadines Vue Aston for opening in December 2026. Until the serviced residence operates, the mixed-use concept remains incomplete.
For owners, this has practical consequences. An international hospitality operation may add demand, reception services and facilities, while also changing guest flows and the use of common areas. Costs and the daily atmosphere may evolve after opening.
The Peninsula Capital has no second completed development, so Vue Aston carries the entire company reputation. Its advantage is that a substantial portion of the property has already been handed over and can be inspected. Its limitation is that some elements are still entering operation and the model has not been repeated.
The project suits buyers attracted to Phnom Penh’s eastern growth, riverfront living and a large mixed-use environment. Vue Aston should be viewed not as a fully closed story, but as a residential building already in use while the remaining parts of its original concept continue to come together.
