Khmer Products Exhibition announced for November in Phnom Penh
A November showcase focused on Cambodian-made goods
The Ministry of Commerce announced the event on October 13, with state news agency AKP reporting further details a day later. The Khmer Products Exhibition 2026 is scheduled for the Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Centre in Phnom Penh. The ministry says it will cooperate with the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia (UYFC) in preparing the exhibition.
Its theme, “Khmer Can Do: Participate, Promote, and Support Local Products,” captures the organisers' stated aim of encouraging wider use of domestic goods. Alongside product displays across more than 200 planned booths, the programme is expected to include accompanying activities and sessions for sharing knowledge and experience. The published AKP report does not give a detailed schedule for those sessions.
For now, the booth figure describes the intended size of the exhibition. It is not a confirmed exhibitor count, a measure of consumer demand or evidence of completed sales.

Small producers need more than an invitation
The ministry has encouraged business owners, producers, traders and the wider public to take part in supporting local products. A smaller brand could use the event to learn how shoppers respond to its products or to start conversations with possible distributors. Whether those conversations lead anywhere will depend on the people attending and the company's ability to follow up.
Neither the ministry's public announcement nor the AKP report establishes booth fees, an application deadline, allocation criteria or how many places remain available. Producers considering a display should obtain the current registration requirements and a full cost estimate from the organisers before committing goods, transport or promotional spending. The exhibition is still a future event scheduled for November, so there is no outcome to assess yet.
