Cambodia’s SEZ network counts 39 operating zones as of July 2026

The July snapshot shows the scale of the SEZ system

CIB’s headline figures put Cambodia’s operating SEZ network at 39 zones, with approximately 260,000 workers and 1,122 investment projects. Total investment capital is listed at $14.6 billion.

The agency also describes a broad industrial mix inside the zones, including furniture and wood products, automotive and electronics manufacturing, and tyre production. SEZs are generally designed around business infrastructure such as logistics links, utilities and on-site administrative services for trade and permitting. Those features are not identical across every location, so the national totals should be treated as context instead of a proxy for the quality or cost of a particular zone.
