Chao Ting International Real Estate Co., Ltd has almost disappeared behind its own building. In Phnom Penh, the company is known primarily through Diamond Twin Tower on Koh Pich, a two-tower complex combining homes and offices from the period when Diamond Island was still establishing a new commercial skyline for the capital.

Launched in the middle of the 2010s and completed in 2019, the project gives Chao Ting an unusual kind of record for a one-development company. It can be judged less through corporate biography or future promises and more through the way a complex mixed-use property performs several years after delivery.

Two towers serving different daily populations

One side of Diamond Twin Tower was designed for residences and the other for offices. Published totals differ slightly, but the scheme is generally described as containing more than 320 apartments and about 160 office units. At the time, the combination of strata offices and housing within one project was still relatively new in Phnom Penh.

The result is a busier environment than a conventional residential building. Residents share the site with office workers, company visitors and customers using commercial space. That can appeal to buyers who value Koh Pich’s business setting or want to work close to home. It also places greater pressure on parking, lifts, entrances and the management of shared facilities.

Independent records confirm more than the project’s existence. The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat records both towers as completed in 2019, while engineering contractor Comin Asia identifies Chao Ting as the client for fire-fighting and alarm systems installed in 2017–2018. Those technical references provide a firmer link between the company and the completed asset than repeated agency descriptions alone.

Corporate silence makes the building the primary source

Beyond Diamond Twin Tower, Chao Ting has no clearly documented public portfolio. Reliable information about its ownership, founding history and current activity is limited. The company may have been structured around this single investment rather than intended as the beginning of a long sequence of launches.

The brand therefore contributes little on its own. The more important questions concern how the residential and office components are managed, whether user flows are separated effectively, how parking performs and what demand exists for the particular type of unit.

Diamond Twin Tower has been part of the rental and resale market for years. Prospective owners can inspect apartment and office condition, compare ongoing costs and judge whether the complex has retained its appeal as Koh Pich has filled with newer buildings. Chao Ting delivered one visible project, and its present operation remains the most honest account of the company.
