The portfolio names The View in Phnom Penh, 88 Residence in Sihanoukville and Golden One in Phnom Penh. Independent coverage also connects The View and Golden One with UC Group and describes UC88 as the group’s next major step in BKK1. The record is compact, but it shows a progression from urban residential buildings towards a more complex model combining private homes, hospitality and service infrastructure.

UC88 brings the group’s different capabilities together

UC88 Wyndham Garden is rising on Street 322 in BKK1. The 46-storey tower combines residential and hotel accommodation, with a Wyndham Hotels & Resorts agreement publicly announced in 2024. The structure had already topped out in November 2023.

The long period after topping-out is important. By early 2026, updates showed a complete façade, continuing interior installation, engineering testing and work on common areas. Public handover guidance moved between the second and third quarters of 2026. On a mixed-use high-rise, a finished exterior is not the same as completed building systems, fitted residences, hotel rooms and an operating team.

UC88 is aimed at buyers who want a central address, furnished accommodation and a hospitality-led service model. The potential benefit is a staffed reception, organised services and more professional operations. The trade-off is greater management complexity, shared circulation between guests and residents, and dependence on how fully the Wyndham Garden component functions after opening.

Integration will only be proven after handover

UC Group says it combines design, construction, furnishing, fire-safety systems and property management. If those capabilities genuinely operate as one coordinated platform, they may reduce the handoffs that often create problems between design, construction and later operations. The structure only becomes valuable, however, when responsibilities remain clear rather than dispersed across related companies.

The View, Golden One and 88 Residence provide some evidence of experience, although public records do not always assign the same role to each UC entity. UC88 matters because the present developer, construction capability and intended hospitality model are more clearly brought together.

For Chhun Sambath Development, this is not merely another portfolio entry. It is the project that will establish whether the group can finish and operate a complex tower at the level promised. After opening, the most revealing measures will be handover quality, Wyndham operations, engineering reliability and whether the claimed integration is felt in the daily experience of owners.
