What is known
- Bank Indonesia describes a payment system as regulations, institutions and mechanisms for transferring funds.
A payment record is not one screenshot that “proves everything”. It is a chain of terms, instruction, sending evidence, status and an answer to what each record does and does not establish.
Keep more than a receipt. Retain the connection to the agreement term, the payment instruction version used, date and time, amount and currency, reference, provider status and communication about the next step.
Build one chain for each payment: term → instruction → sending → status → confirmation or open question. Do not merge different payments into one folder without an identifier.
Context is most often lost when a receipt goes to a group chat while the agreement milestone and instruction sit higher in the thread. Give the payment an internal label and attach only related files and messages to it.
Evidence of sending can be important, but it does not by itself answer every question about recipient, status, contractual credit or payment outcome. Bank Indonesia describes the payment system as regulations, institutions and mechanisms for transferring funds; its official overview does not verify a particular transaction.
Keep the original instruction and later updates together, but do not replace one with another without a marker. If payment details or amount changed, it matters which version was available at the time of sending and who confirmed the next process.
Create a separate record for each payment.
Link the agreement term and payment instruction that was used.
Preserve sending evidence and status with date, time and reference.
Write separately what the evidence does not yet confirm.
If status or payment details conflict, keep the original chain when making a new request to the provider or transaction party.
