Also known as: Worldbridge Land (Cambodia) Co., Ltd., Worldbridgeland (Cambodia) Co Ltd, WBL

A Cambodia-based real-estate company documented as Oxley’s local partner in The Bridge and The Peak, with project transactions structured through separate legal entities.

WorldBridge Land became the development platform through which Cambodia’s WorldBridge Group partnered with Singapore-listed Oxley Holdings. Incorporated in 2011, it played the local role in several projects that changed Tonle Bassac, particularly The Bridge and The Peak.

This was not a stand-alone developer imposing one repeatable architectural language. WorldBridge Land contributed local market access, land, relationships and execution, while Oxley brought listed-company development experience, finance and the structure for large mixed-use projects.

The partnership created two different vertical districts

The Bridge was the first major result. Two 45-storey towers combine apartments, SOHO space, a retail podium and elevated connections. The project was completed in 2018.

The Peak increased the scale: two 55-storey residential towers with 1,014 homes, offices, retail and Shangri-La Phnom Penh. The residential component was completed in 2021, while the hotel began welcoming guests in December 2024.

Oxley’s September 2025 reporting said 99% of The Peak’s residences and all office units had been sold. The figure shows not only physical delivery but commercial absorption of a very large amount of space.

The partnership portfolio also includes The Palms, a 220-home low-rise development completed in December 2022. It demonstrates that WorldBridge Land was not limited to towers, although Tonle Bassac created the public identity.

The local role was real, but project companies matter more than the brand

The Bridge is associated with Oxley Diamond, The Peak with Oxley Gem, and the wider platform was known as Oxley Worldbridge. Partner interests changed over time; Oxley’s 2025 report showed effective interests of 79% in several Cambodian entities.

This structure does not diminish WorldBridge Land’s contribution. Projects of this scale would have been difficult without a strong local partner. Buyers should still understand that contracts, management and obligations sit at project-company level rather than under the broad WorldBridge name.

Oxley also stated an intention to exit Cambodia progressively after completing existing projects. The strongest part of WorldBridge Land’s story therefore lies in the built portfolio rather than a clearly defined new joint pipeline.

For purchasers of finished property, that is useful. The Bridge, The Peak and The Palms can all be assessed directly. WorldBridge Land deserves recognition as the local partner that helped deliver several major schemes, while the continuing ownership experience depends on the management structure of each development rather than the construction-stage partnership.

What to verify in the transaction

Open questions and source differences

Confirmed
  • Confirmed items include the company-name variants, WBL’s incorporation on 25 May 2011, Cambodian jurisdiction, its documented role as the local Oxley Worldbridge partner, links to The Bridge and The Peak, and the use of separate project companies. Oxley’s 2025 annual report confirms Oxley’s current effective interests in several Cambodian entities.
  • A project brochure records the full name Worldbridge Land (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. and states that the company was established in May 2011.
Not confirmed
  • A current direct registry extract has not been obtained for WorldBridge Land’s present shareholders, the holders of every remaining interest in the project companies, the complete active portfolio, transaction-specific licences or authority, current inventory and pricing, or a direct NovAsia relationship. Group-level contacts and social profiles should not automatically be treated as those of the separate legal entity.
  • No public company-registry extract was found.
  • No separate primary completion or handover document for The Bridge in 2018 was located; the date remains in the claimed track record.
  • The Bridge and The Peak used joint structures; the SPA seller cannot be inferred from the WorldBridge Land brand alone.
Source conflicts
  • Sources alternate between Worldbridge Land and Worldbridgeland. The WorldBridge Group’s 1992 origins are not WBL’s 2011 incorporation date. The older joint-venture description does not imply an identical ownership split across all project entities: Oxley’s 2025 report shows 79% in several Cambodian subsidiaries, while Oxley Diamond remains a 50% joint venture.
