How do you read an annex without false certainty?

Read it with the main agreement, not as a stand-alone brochure. For each annex, record the agreement clause it relates to, its version, who supplied it and which question it is meant to answer.

An annex only works in context

The useful question is not “is there an annex?” but “which agreement clause makes it relevant?” If the connection is not visible, do not invent it. Mark the gap and request an explanation in the form the parties use for the transaction.

Version matters more than a polished file

An annex needs a clear name, date and status. Where several similar PDFs circulate, make a short table: what changed, who supplied it and which version awaits confirmation. This is not a legal answer, but it removes the false sense that everyone is reading the same document.

Do not turn an annex into proof of the asset

A plan, render, fit-out table or payment schedule does not by itself confirm a right, registration, actual condition or future outcome. Indonesia has an official rights and registration framework, but the relevance of any file to a particular transaction needs separate review.
