- National frameworks exist for rights, registration, regional taxes and levies.
A compelling discount can make an offer better — or simply move the price into another line. This tool does not decide whether a deal is good. It helps you see honestly what is deducted, what is added and which conditions are not yet proven.
Check four things first: which unit the offer applies to, its currency and expiry, which condition activates the benefit and where it is recorded. Until every answer is present, the figure is suitable for a note, not for recalculating price.
Effective price is a working comparison, not a legal term or payment instruction. The formula includes only a documented price, a documented deductive benefit and documented added items. Anything conditional remains outside the result with a clear label.
‘Granted’, ‘with a reservation’, ‘until a date’, ‘with a selected plan’ — these words matter more than the large number. They point to a condition. Put a benefit into the calculation only after its condition, recipient, unit and document match. Otherwise the comparison mixes an existing price with a possible marketing version.
Furniture, a service package or another bonus may matter to a decision. But unless scope, applicability, monetary value and grant conditions are defined, they cannot be unconditionally deducted from price. Keep them on a separate line: that preserves both the offer’s value and the calculation’s honesty.
You cannot compare a price from one message with a discount from an old presentation and a cost from another payment option, then call the result exact. Every line needs the same property, version date, currency and conditions. If that is missing, the honest line status is ‘check’.
Indonesian rules provide high-level context for rights, registration, regional taxes and levies. That is a reason not to ignore documentary questions, not a reason to add an arbitrary rate to the formula or call a benefit final. A specific amount needs applicability to the specific transaction.
Assume, purely to test the structure, a list price of 100 illustrative units, a documented applicable benefit of 8 units and documented added items of 3 units. The working effective price is 100 − 8 + 3 = 95 units. Unconfirmed gifts, taxes, levies and other questions do not enter this result. The example does not state a Bali price, discount or cost.
