Why this project is worth a look
Bang Tao, low-rise scale
Atrium combines an established Bang Tao address with a seven-storey format rather than a high-rise tower. It can suit buyers who want resort access and a beach-oriented neighbourhood without choosing a very tall building.
Meaningful layout range
The mix runs from 35.74 sqm studios to apartments close to 100 sqm. Buyers can choose around an actual use case—short stays, couple living, family occupation or a larger rental product—rather than simply selecting a bedroom count.
Amenities drive the concept
Pools, food and beverage spaces, rooftop areas, fitness, coworking and children's facilities make Atrium more resort-led than a basic residential block. The value of that proposition will depend on access rules, operating quality and ongoing owner charges.
Foreign freehold route
A foreign buyer can potentially take condominium freehold within Thailand's 49% foreign quota. That is structurally simpler than land-based villa ownership, although quota availability and the exact transfer wording must be checked for the chosen apartment.
Off-plan terms matter
Atrium is still under construction and public completion dates conflict between 2026 and 2027. The contractual handover date, instalment milestones and delay provisions therefore matter more than marketing return claims when judging the transaction.
About the project
Atrium Andaman City is an under-construction condominium in Choeng Thale, in Phuket's Bang Tao area. It sits within the wider Andaman City development, but it should not be confused with the completed Andaman Riviera or with Andaman Boutique Residences. Atrium has its own inventory, two seven-storey buildings and a separate construction timeline. That distinction matters because listings for the neighbouring projects often appear together and can blur the identity of the product being sold. The Atrium scheme itself is presented as 280 apartments, with 140 units in each building, ranging from studios to three-bedroom homes. Selected lower-floor units are marketed with pool access or private terrace-and-pool configurations.
The project is large enough to support a resort-style amenity programme without becoming a high-rise tower. Seven floors keep the physical scale relatively low, while 280 units create a meaningful resident and rental population. For an owner-occupier, that can mean more facilities and services than a small standalone condominium. For a rental buyer, it also means that a future guest may be choosing between many similar units in the same compound. The view, floor, layout, pool access, furnishing package and management terms therefore matter more than the project name alone.

Bang Tao is the central location story. The published address places Atrium on Ro Pho Cho Phuket 3140 Road in Choeng Thale, and mapping sources position the site roughly 500–600 metres from Bang Tao Beach. FazWaz lists Porto de Phuket at about 1.9 km and Phuket International Airport at about 18.2 km. This is not beachfront property: buyers should distinguish a short geographic distance from a genuinely effortless walking route, particularly in rain or heat. The advantage is that the project is being built in an established part of western Phuket where shops, dining, beach businesses and resort services already exist rather than depending entirely on future neighbourhood development.
The unit mix is unusually clear for an off-plan Phuket project. Published sizes are 35.74 sqm for studios, 53.59 sqm for one-bedroom apartments, three two-bedroom formats at 79.43, 87.55 and 98.06 sqm, and a 95.95 sqm three-bedroom layout. Those areas are large enough to create materially different use cases rather than simply changing the bedroom count inside a similar footprint. A 35.74 sqm studio may suit shorter stays or a single resident, while the larger two- and three-bedroom formats are more plausible for families and longer occupation. The practical comparison should still be made on the actual floor plan: circulation, terrace depth, kitchen placement, window line and storage can change the usability of two apartments with similar headline areas.
Atrium is marketed as part of the broader Andaman City resort environment. The building-level programme includes pools, food-and-beverage space, rooftop areas, fitness, coworking, a lobby and children's facilities. The wider Andaman City materials add spa, wellness, entertainment and family services. Buyers should separate amenities physically and legally within Atrium from facilities shared across the larger master development. Access rules, operating hours, charges and the right to use future phases can matter just as much as the amenity list itself, especially if the intention is to rent the apartment as a resort-style product.
As of 6 September 2026, the development is still under construction, but the publicly stated completion date is not consistent. The Russian Atrium page on Andaman City's website and several large property portals point to 2026 or December 2026. The English Atrium page and the company's English project list show 2027. This is a material issue for an off-plan buyer, not a minor editorial mismatch. The sale and purchase agreement should specify the contractual handover date, any permitted extension period, the relationship between construction milestones and instalments, and the buyer's remedies if completion moves beyond the agreed window.
Public pricing also varies by source and unit. The lowest active market anchor found on FazWaz on 6 September 2026 is THB 4.861 million, while project-facing sales sites and other agencies show higher entry points. That spread may reflect floor, view, furnishing, ownership quota, inventory age or simply different price-list dates. A buyer should therefore treat the low figure as evidence that such a listing exists, not as a universal developer price. The meaningful comparison is the total contract price of the specific unit, including any foreign-freehold premium, sinking fund, common-area fees and other transfer-related charges that apply.
For overseas buyers, the condominium structure is one of Atrium's practical strengths. Thai law permits foreigners to own condominium units on a freehold basis, but aggregate foreign ownership cannot exceed 49% of the total unit area in a registered condominium. FazWaz currently identifies a THB 10,000 per sqm premium for foreign-freehold quota at Atrium. That is useful evidence that foreign freehold is part of the sales structure, but the availability of quota remains unit-specific and time-sensitive. The reservation and sale contract should identify the intended tenure clearly and state what happens if the promised quota cannot be transferred at completion.
Ownership format
Condominium freehold is offered for the project. A foreign buyer may hold freehold only within Thailand's statutory foreign quota, capped at 49% of the total unit area in a registered condominium. Quota availability must be checked for the selected unit; FazWaz currently shows a THB 10,000/sqm foreign-freehold premium.
Unit types & sizes
The most compact format in the scheme. It offers the lowest entry point and a single open living zone; floor, outlook and proximity to pools or public areas can materially change the experience.
A separate bedroom within more than 50 sqm gives this format a stronger long-stay profile for a couple than the studio, while retaining a relatively compact overall footprint.
Atrium publishes three materially different two-bedroom sizes. The gap of almost 19 sqm between the smallest and largest version is large enough to change circulation, living space and rental positioning.
The most family-oriented published format. Open sources disagree on the bathroom count, so that detail should be confirmed against the exact floor plan of the selected unit.
Published unit sizes are consistent across several current sources. Bathroom counts for the three-bedroom layout conflict, so no fixed bathroom figure is stated for that type. Prices are the lowest the brokerage boards publish, not the developer’s price list — the price and availability of a specific unit are something we go through with you personally.

Best for: Buyers who want a Bang Tao condominium with resort-style amenities but without a high-rise tower.; Foreign purchasers who value the possibility of direct condominium freehold when foreign quota is available.; Couples and families looking for genuine 53–98 sqm living options rather than only compact investment studios.; Off-plan buyers comfortable reviewing the sale contract, construction-linked payments and completion risk in detail.; Rental investors prepared to judge the specific unit, view, layout and management terms instead of relying on headline yield marketing.; may not suit: It is not suitable for someone who needs an immediately occupiable completed home; Atrium remains under construction.; It is not true beachfront property, despite being relatively close to Bang Tao Beach.; A buyer who requires a fully settled public handover date should obtain the contract and written construction schedule before committing, because current sources conflict..

Disputed and unknown information
This keeps the open points in one place. A missing or disputed fact is not treated as a conclusion.
- Completion timing conflicts: the Russian Andaman City page and several portals point to 2026 or December 2026, while the English project page and company project list show 2027. The contractual handover date must come from the sale and purchase agreement.
- Two payment schedules are currently published: a project sales channel shows 35% first payment followed by 10% / 15% / 10% / 10% / 10% / 10%, while FazWaz shows 30% / 10% / 15% / 15% / 10% / 10% / 10%. Only the signed unit-specific schedule should control the transaction.
- Foreign freehold is part of the project sales structure, but foreign-quota availability for a specific apartment changes as units are sold and must be confirmed before reservation.
