Why this project is worth a look
Unusually large layouts
Phuket Plus lists one-bedroom plans from roughly 63 to 81 sqm, with substantially larger two-bedroom homes. That gives the project a residential feel that many compact resort condominiums lack. The trade-off is straightforward: more space can also mean a larger absolute maintenance bill, so the actual unit's fee schedule matters.
A visible, finished asset
A resale buyer can judge the exact view, access, renovation quality and condition of the common areas instead of relying on CGI. In an older development this is particularly valuable because two units in different buildings can age very differently. A proper inspection can matter more than the project label.
Quiet Kamala setting
The property sits on the greener inland side of Kamala rather than directly on the beachfront strip. That can suit buyers who value a calmer environment and are comfortable using transport. Anyone prioritising walkable beach access should test the route personally rather than relying on quoted driving times.
Established resort facilities
Pool, fitness, restaurant, security, CCTV, parking and shuttle service are confirmed by Phuket Plus, with the resort site also listing sauna and tennis. Mature facilities are useful because they can be inspected today. Their value depends on maintenance quality and the condominium's operating budget, not merely on the fact that they exist.
Real resale depth
Multiple 2026 listings across studios, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and larger homes provide a genuine secondary-market reference rather than a single remaining unit. Asking prices vary widely, so the useful comparison is between the complete packages: title, condition, outlook, building, furnishings, fees and seller circumstances.
About the project
The Tree residence Phuket is an older low-rise condominium on the Kamala hillside, and the same physical property appears online under several closely related names: The Trees Residence, The Tree Residence and The Trees Club Resort. The address is the anchor that ties those records together. The resort's own website gives 59/46 Moo 5, Kamala, while Phuket Plus currently lists The Trees Residence (Kamala) in its portfolio, and major resale databases place their project at the same address with closely matching unit sizes. A newer development called The Trees Residence by Anocha is being marketed in Bangtao; it is a separate project and is excluded from this dossier.
Phuket Plus is the strongest source for the original development specification. Its current project page states six buildings, three floors and 62 units, with completion in 2008. The developer also identifies The Trees Club Resort among its previous Phuket developments in a separate corporate brochure. However, the secondary-market record is unusually inconsistent. PropertyHub reports seven buildings, 78 units and a 2008 completion, while DDproperty, Dot Property, Hipflat and related databases commonly show seven buildings, 66 units and completion in 2014. Those figures are not averaged here. The Phuket Plus specification is used as the primary record, and the conflict remains a document-level due-diligence point.

Space is one of the project's clearest differentiators. Phuket Plus lists one-bedroom layouts of 63.41, 78.64 and 80.62 sqm, two-bedroom layouts of 100.41 and 159.26 sqm, and a PH two-bedroom layout of 266.31 sqm. Those are generous dimensions by the standards of many newer Phuket condominiums, particularly for a one-bedroom home. Independent project databases also describe studios in the 51–68 sqm range, and a current 2026 resale listing offers a 51 sqm studio. The old Trees Club Resort website says it operates 34 studio, one- and two-bedroom accommodation units, but it does not explain whether that number represents a hotel inventory subset rather than the full condominium inventory, so it should not be used as the project total.
This is a hillside Kamala address rather than a literal beachfront development. The property sits at 59/46 Moo 5, Baan Hua Khuan, in a green inland pocket of Kamala. The resort operator promotes a shuttle to Kamala Beach and quotes roughly 10 minutes by taxi to Patong, 20 minutes to Phuket Town and 30 minutes to the airport. Those times are useful orientation, not a transport guarantee; west-coast traffic varies considerably by season and time of day. A buyer who wants an easy walk to the sand, beach clubs and daily retail should inspect the route in person. For residents comfortable using a car, scooter or taxi, the hillside setting offers a quieter alternative to the denser beachfront strip.
The common areas reflect the project's resort origins. Phuket Plus confirms reception and lobby space, a swimming pool, restaurant, fitness area, parking, 24-hour security, CCTV and a shuttle service. The Trees Club Resort website also lists a sauna and tennis court. The point is not the length of the amenity list but the fact that these facilities can be inspected as operating, mature infrastructure rather than viewed only on renderings. In an older condominium, that is useful. It also creates a due-diligence obligation: a brochure cannot tell you the present condition of pool equipment, roofs, waterproofing, gym machinery, landscaping or the frequency with which services such as the restaurant and shuttle actually operate.
The secondary market is active enough to provide real price anchors. In August 2026 DDproperty showed a 51 sqm studio asking THB 3.5M and a 100 sqm two-bedroom unit asking THB 8.8M. Dot Property was simultaneously carrying several units from roughly THB 5.4M, including one-bedroom homes around 80–81 sqm and larger two- and three-bedroom stock. The THB 3.5M figure is therefore used only as the lowest visible asking-price anchor at the time of research. It is not a project-wide price promise. Condition, renovation quality, outlook, floor, furniture, title structure and the seller's motivation can produce wide differences between two units in the same development.
Foreign ownership has to be checked unit by unit. Thai condominium law allows foreign freehold ownership only within the statutory foreign quota, capped at 49% of the aggregate unit area in a registered condominium. Hipflat's transaction history for this project contains recorded Foreign Quota units as well as a leasehold example, while current resale listings also describe freehold stock. That is evidence that foreign freehold has existed within the development, not proof that any particular unit is currently transferable to a foreign buyer. Before paying a reservation deposit, the buyer should see the seller's title documentation and obtain the condominium juristic person's confirmation of the foreign-quota position.
Because the project has been operating for many years, physical and financial due diligence matters more than glossy specification. The upside of resale is visibility: the buyer can inspect the exact apartment, outlook, access road, building entrance and common areas before committing. The other side is age. Phuket's humid, coastal climate makes waterproofing, mold, air-conditioning, window seals, drainage and exterior maintenance worth checking carefully. The condominium's accounts, arrears, reserve position and planned capital works are equally important. Some portals publish common-area and sinking-fund figures, but the project-level metadata conflict is strong enough that those numbers should be verified directly with the condominium juristic person rather than copied into a purchase model.

Ownership format
Resale records include units held freehold within the foreign quota as well as leasehold examples. A foreign buyer can take condominium freehold only while the building remains within Thailand's statutory 49% foreign-ownership quota by unit area; the selected unit's title and the quota position must be confirmed at transfer.
Unit types & sizes
Studios appear in independent project databases and current resale stock even though Phuket Plus does not include them in its present unit-type list. A 51 sqm unit advertised in 2026 confirms that this format exists in the resale market.
Phuket Plus currently lists three one-bedroom plans at 63.41, 78.64 and 80.62 sqm. The generous footprint makes this one of the more straightforward formats for long-stay use by a single resident or couple who wants a separate bedroom and proper living area.
Phuket Plus lists standard two-bedroom plans of 100.41 and 159.26 sqm plus a much larger PH layout at 266.31 sqm. A 100 sqm resale unit was asking THB 8.8M in August 2026. For the larger homes, the registered area and actual layout should be checked carefully against title documentation.
The unit mix is not perfectly consistent across sources. Phuket Plus publishes exact plans from 63.41 to 266.31 sqm without studios, while major resale databases add 51–68 sqm studios that are also evidenced by current listings. The old resort website refers to 34 operating accommodation units but does not explain how that subset relates to the full condominium register. Prices are the lowest the brokerage boards publish, not the developer’s price list — the price and availability of a specific unit are something we go through with you personally.

Price & purchase terms
- Current price: From THB 3.5M in a DDproperty resale listing published on 5 August 2026. This is a lower asking-price anchor on the secondary market, not developer pricing; availability, title and transaction terms need to be reconfirmed for the selected unit.
- Completed: 2008
We show the lowest of the prices the brokerage boards publish: their figures for the same unit differ by a few per cent, and none of them is the developer’s price list. We ask the developer for the current price, availability and payment terms on the unit you are looking at, and go through them with you personally.

Best for: Buyers who value generous internal space and a quieter green setting more than a recent completion date or direct beachfront position.; Resale buyers who prefer to inspect the exact apartment, view, building and common areas before committing.; Foreign buyers willing to select only a unit with documented title and confirmed foreign-quota availability rather than relying on a portal label.; Residents comfortable using a car, scooter or taxi for the beach and day-to-day movement around Kamala.; may not suit: Buyers looking for a new-build warranty environment, new equipment and a staged developer payment plan.; Anyone who wants the beach, shops and restaurants to be easily walkable without relying on transport.; Buyers unwilling to investigate inconsistent legacy project data and commission physical and document checks on the selected resale unit..

Disputed and unknown information
This keeps the open points in one place. A missing or disputed fact is not treated as a conclusion.
- Core project statistics conflict: Phuket Plus states 6 buildings, 62 units and 2008 completion; PropertyHub shows 7 buildings, 78 units and 2008; DDproperty, Dot Property and Hipflat commonly show 7 buildings, 66 units and 2014. Condominium juristic-person or registration records are needed for final resolution.
- Phuket Plus currently presents the property in its own portfolio and separately names The Trees Club Resort among its developments, while some portals identify Ocean Group Asia or Ocean Property as developer. Original project or registration documents were not found publicly.
- The resale record includes Foreign Quota units as well as leasehold examples, but the title of any selected unit and the remaining foreign quota at the time of transfer are not confirmed in advance.
