Why this project is worth a look
Completed and inspectable
Completion is reported as February 2022, so the asset can be inspected as it exists today rather than judged from renders. Pool equipment, roofing, air-conditioning, plumbing, furniture and exterior wear can all be checked before the buyer treats the asking price as meaningful.
Small community
The best-supported project count is six villas. This is not a large resort-style compound, so the value proposition is more about the individual home and a quieter residential setting than about a long list of communal amenities.
Two-bedroom focus
The identifiable resale stock is concentrated in two-bedroom, two-bathroom homes. That can suit buyers who want a private pool without the cost and maintenance burden of a much larger family villa, although it also means the project offers limited layout diversity.
Resale pricing
The visible entry point of roughly THB 6.9 million is useful as a current market reference, but resale comparisons need to go beyond the headline number. Renovation quality, land size, furniture, pool condition and legal documentation can easily outweigh a modest difference in asking price.
Document-led purchase
Neither the developer nor a project-wide ownership structure could be verified. A foreign buyer therefore needs a unit-specific legal review covering the land title, registered owner, encumbrances and the exact rights being transferred with the building.
About the project
Villa Coco Chalong is a small completed pool-villa community in Chalong, on the southern side of Phuket. Major property databases date completion to February 2022. That matters because this is now primarily a resale decision rather than an off-plan purchase. The buyer can inspect an existing home, but the due-diligence focus shifts toward the condition of the individual villa, the land and building documents, maintenance history and actual running costs rather than construction milestones and staged developer payments.
The project appears to be very compact. FazWaz and the English Hipflat project page report six villas, while the Thai Hipflat page displays seven in one version of the record. We therefore use six as the best-supported figure while keeping the discrepancy visible. A small community can appeal to buyers who prefer a quieter setting with fewer neighbours, but it also makes the management structure worth understanding: who maintains shared access and security, what is formally communal, and how recurring costs are divided can matter more in a small project than a glossy amenity list suggests.

The active units that can be tied confidently to the project are two-bedroom, two-bathroom villas. Current listings show roughly 70 to 126 sqm of internal area, with some sale listings showing plots in the region of 127 to 200 sqm. These are live resale records rather than an original developer schedule, so they should not be treated as a complete master plan. For a couple, a small family or a buyer who wants a private pool without the upkeep of a large four-bedroom property, the format is easy to understand: compact indoor space, private outdoor area and a pool, with materially different condition and fit-out from one resale unit to another.
As checked on 14 September 2026, the lowest visible asking price on FazWaz was around THB 6.9 million, with other units listed above that level. This is a market entry point, not a project-wide valuation. Resale villas can differ substantially even when they share the same bedroom count, particularly after several years of owner occupation, rental use, furnishing changes or renovation. A sensible comparison should therefore be made unit by unit, including the land plot, internal area, pool condition, furniture, legal structure and any documented common expenses.
The location is tied to Coco Pool Villa Resort around Soi Palai in Chalong, Mueang Phuket. Hipflat places Villa Coco Chalong at that location, while mapping and accommodation sources independently locate Coco Pool Villa Resort on Soi Palai. Palai is an inland/east-coast Chalong setting rather than a walk-to-beach resort strip. The practical attraction is access to Chalong and southern Phuket by road. Buyers whose routine revolves around schools, local services and driving around the south may find that useful; buyers expecting a beachfront lifestyle should recognise that this is a different type of location.
FazWaz lists 24-hour security and CCTV as project facilities. Private pools, terraces and gardens appear at the individual-villa level. That distinction matters with a completed resale property. Security may be part of the shared environment, while the pool equipment, waterproofing, air-conditioning, garden drainage and exterior finishes belong to the specific home you are buying. A physical inspection can therefore change the value assessment more than a generic project description can.
No developer could be verified reliably from the open sources reviewed. That does not by itself prove a problem, but it means the legal file of the selected villa carries more weight. A buyer should be able to identify the landowner, the party that originally sold the house, the entity or persons responsible for any common management and the basis for any recurring charges. Those points cannot be reconstructed confidently from portal pages alone.
There is also an identity issue in syndicated listings around the same address. Some units appearing under Villa Coco Chalong are described in their listing text as belonging to The 8 Pool Villa, a separate nearby project. We have therefore excluded developer, construction-year and project-size claims from those mixed records. For this dossier, the retained facts are the ones that recur specifically under the Villa Coco Chalong project record: Chalong location, February 2022 completion, a small villa community, two-bedroom resale stock, private pools and an active resale market.
For a foreign buyer, the core legal question is the land rather than the existence of the house. Thai government guidance states that foreign nationals generally cannot own land directly, except under narrow statutory exceptions. Villa Coco Chalong therefore should not be marketed with a blanket ownership promise. The exact structure needs to be established from the documents of the selected resale unit, including the land title, registered owner, encumbrances and the legal right the buyer will receive in relation to both the building and the land.
Home types & sizes
Completed resale villas with a private pool; condition, plot size, furniture and recorded area vary by individual property.
This is not an original developer floor-plan schedule. The range is based on active sale and rental records that could be tied confidently to Villa Coco Chalong; the area and configuration of a selected home should be checked against its documents. Prices are the lowest the brokerage boards publish, not the developer’s price list — the price and availability of a specific unit are something we go through with you personally.

Price & purchase terms
- Current price: From THB 6.9M in active FazWaz listings checked on 14 September 2026. This is a lower resale-market reference point; the chosen villa, availability, price, furniture package and transaction terms need separate confirmation.
- Completed: Feb 2022
We show the lowest of the prices the brokerage boards publish: their figures for the same unit differ by a few per cent, and none of them is the developer’s price list. We ask the developer for the current price, availability and payment terms on the unit you are looking at, and go through them with you personally.

Best for: Buyers looking for a completed, compact two-bedroom pool villa in Chalong.; Couples or small families who value private outdoor space more than extensive communal facilities.; Resale buyers willing to compare individual condition and complete unit-specific legal due diligence before committing.; People whose daily routine works with a car-based Palai location and access to Chalong and southern Phuket.; may not suit: Buyers who specifically want a new-build product from a publicly verified developer with a documented warranty package and construction payment plan.; Foreign buyers expecting to register the villa land directly in their own name without a separate lawful ownership or lease structure.; Buyers who require walkable access to a tourist beach and resort-style amenities immediately outside the project..

Disputed and unknown information
This keeps the open points in one place. A missing or disputed fact is not treated as a conclusion.
- The developer of Villa Coco Chalong could not be verified: FazWaz and LivePhuket carry the project record but do not identify a developer.
- Project size conflicts across sources: FazWaz and English-language Hipflat report 6 villas, while Thai-language Hipflat shows 7. Some syndicated listings around the same address also mix Villa Coco Chalong with the nearby The 8 Pool Villa.
- The ownership structure of a specific villa, the land title and registered encumbrances are not confirmed publicly. A foreign buyer should verify them from the selected property's documents; as a general rule, Thai law does not allow foreign nationals to own land directly except under narrow statutory exceptions.
