Why this project is worth a look
Only 34 homes
Bright Phuket has 34 apartments across two five-storey buildings. That is not a guarantee of privacy or service quality, but it is a manageable physical scale: a buyer can quickly understand the buildings, pool, common areas and the position of a specific unit without navigating a multi-tower masterplan.
Space-first layouts
The public range starts with one-bedroom homes around 62.5 sqm and extends to a 292.5 sqm penthouse. This makes the project relevant to buyers who want more usable living space than a compact resort studio, although it also puts the entry budget above studio-led projects.
Walk to Bang Tao
The project states a distance of about 200 metres to Bang Tao Beach and describes the route as a short walk. It is a practical claim that can be tested during a viewing: walk from the building entrance to the beach and decide whether the route works for everyday use.
Inspect what exists
By August 2026, Bright Phuket is being marketed and resold as a completed property. Buyers can judge the actual finish, common areas, noise, circulation and condition of the selected apartment rather than relying mainly on renders and a future delivery date.
Distinct unit formats
The same small development includes conventional apartments, direct pool-access layouts and a duplex penthouse with a private rooftop pool. The experience can therefore differ substantially between unit types, making a unit-by-unit comparison more useful than judging the project by bedroom count alone.
About the project
Bright Phuket is a completed condominium near Bang Tao Beach in Choeng Thale on Phuket's west coast. Its scale is more useful to understand than the marketing language around it: the project contains 34 apartments in two five-storey buildings. The official address is 18 Moo 2, Choeng Thale, Thalang, while property databases narrow it down to Soi Cherngtalay 14. The project itself describes the beach as roughly 200 metres away and its location page frames the walk in minutes. That makes the proposition fairly simple for an end user. This is a residential condominium where reaching Bang Tao Beach on foot is part of the everyday use case, rather than a development that depends on a shuttle or a drive for each beach visit. It is also a conventional condominium address rather than a unit embedded inside a hotel resort.
The development is small by the standards of many recent Phuket condominium launches. FazWaz records two buildings, five floors, 34 units and a project area of 2,424 square metres. Those figures should not be turned into promises about silence, service quality or low running costs; those depend on how the condominium is managed. What the scale does change is the inspection process. A buyer can walk the common areas, compare the two buildings, see where a particular apartment sits in relation to the pool and understand most of the physical project in a single visit. Because Bright Phuket is now offered as a completed property, the decision can be based on the actual building and finished unit rather than a rendering of a future one.

The apartment sizes are unusually broad for a 34-unit scheme. Public material covers one-, two- and three-bedroom homes from roughly 62.5 square metres to 292.5 square metres. Standard one-bedroom apartments reach 78.25 square metres, while the one-bedroom pool-access layouts are 71.5 or 72.2 square metres. Standard two-bedroom units run from 78.25 to 113 square metres, and the two-bedroom pool-access format is much larger at 176.5 square metres. At the top of the range is a 292.5-square-metre two-level, three-bedroom penthouse with a private rooftop pool. In practical terms, Bright Phuket is not built around tiny holiday studios. Even the entry format is a proper one-bedroom apartment, which can make the project more workable for longer stays, couples or buyers who simply want more internal space. The trade-off is a higher entry ticket than projects whose lowest-priced stock is a compact studio.
The floor plans also make the vertical layout easy to read. Official master plans place the pool-access one- and two-bedroom apartments on the first floor. Floors two through four carry the conventional one- and two-bedroom layouts. The fifth floor contains the three-bedroom penthouse level, with a separate rooftop plan above it. This matters when comparing listings because phrases such as “pool view” and “pool access” are not interchangeable. A ground-level apartment with a terrace opening directly to the pool has a different privacy, noise and circulation profile from a unit several floors above it. The published plans establish which formats belong on which levels; the remaining questions — window orientation, distance to the opposite building, afternoon sun, terrace exposure and actual view — need to be checked against the exact apartment.
The shared facilities are straightforward rather than resort-scale: a communal swimming pool, gym, sauna, lobby and reception area, parking, an indoor children's area, 24-hour security and CCTV are all listed in current project profiles. FazWaz places the pool and lobby on the ground level and the gym and sauna on the second floor. There is no need to turn that list into a claim of hotel-style service. For a buyer of a completed condo, the more relevant due-diligence questions are whether the facilities are operating as expected, how the juristic person maintains them and what the current common-area budget looks like. FazWaz currently states a common-area fee of THB 65 per square metre of indoor area per month and a one-time sinking fund contribution of THB 600 per square metre. These should be checked against the condominium's current documents before completion of a purchase.
The completion history needs a careful reading because the public record is inconsistent. Older sections of the official website still say the project was expected to be ready in mid-2024. That is contradicted by the developer's own later progress posts: an August 2025 update described the project as about 98% complete, while the September 2025 update reported 99.8% and said handover was coming in March 2026. At the same time, FazWaz and several other portals label the project completed in 2025, while some databases show 2024. By August 2026, current sales listings treat Bright Phuket as a completed project, so “completed” is the most useful present-tense status. The exact legal completion date and the handover history of a particular apartment should still come from project and unit documents rather than from a portal's year field.
Foreign ownership also has to be handled unit by unit. In a registered Thai condominium, foreign nationals can own units directly as freehold provided foreign ownership remains within the statutory 49% quota of the total saleable area. Bright Phuket listings currently show both foreign-quota stock and leasehold stock. That means a generic statement that “foreign freehold is available” is not enough to describe every apartment in the building. Before paying a reservation deposit, a foreign buyer should confirm the selected unit's legal tenure, the current foreign-quota position, the title documentation and the remittance requirements that apply if the unit is being transferred into foreign freehold. A leasehold listing should be assessed on its actual lease term and contract rather than treated as equivalent to freehold.
The lower public price anchor at the time of this review is THB 8.5625 million for a 62.5-square-metre one-bedroom apartment on FazWaz; the official project website still advertises a starting level of about THB 8.56 million. Prices then spread widely across the larger formats. Published project figures put one-bedroom pool-access units at about THB 10.15 million, standard two-bedroom apartments from roughly THB 12.19 million, the 176.5-square-metre two-bedroom pool-access apartment around THB 24.53 million and the 292.5-square-metre penthouse around THB 36.56 million. These numbers should be read as reference points, not as a single guaranteed live price list. A completed building can contain developer stock and private resales at the same time, so asking price, furniture, legal tenure, transfer costs and settlement schedule must be confirmed for the specific unit being negotiated.

Ownership format
Foreign freehold can be available within the statutory 49% foreign quota of the condominium's total saleable area; current Bright Phuket inventory also includes leasehold units. The exact legal tenure of the selected apartment should be confirmed before any deposit is paid.
Unit types & sizes
The entry residential format, but not a small studio. A current 62.5 sqm listing provides the project's lower price anchor at THB 8.5625M, while the official project material shows one-bedroom layouts up to 78.25 sqm. Floor, building, view and tenure still need to be compared at unit level.
First-level apartments with a terrace opening directly to the communal pool. Official material shows two closely related sizes, 71.5 and 72.2 sqm. The layout deserves an in-person check because direct pool access should be weighed against terrace privacy and activity in the shared pool area.
The standard two-bedroom format on floors two through four. The size range is wide enough that two units with the same bedroom count can feel materially different in living-room, bedroom and terrace proportions. The official page mentions one- and two-bathroom variants, so the exact configuration must be checked against the selected floor plan.
A much larger first-level option with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a substantial terrace and direct pool access. At 176.5 sqm it is not merely a larger standard two-bedroom; it belongs in a broader comparison that may also include penthouses and smaller houses at a similar budget.
The top-end duplex format combines the main residential level with a separate rooftop level and private pool. The official project page states 292.5 sqm and three bedrooms. Public sources disagree on the bathroom count, so that detail is deliberately left open until the selected penthouse plan and documents are checked.
Areas and prices reflect published unit types and current market reference points, not guaranteed live inventory. Bright Phuket is a completed project with listings from different sellers, so unit number, title area, furniture, tenure and final price should be checked before reservation. Prices are the lowest the brokerage boards publish, not the developer’s price list — the price and availability of a specific unit are something we go through with you personally.

Price & purchase terms
- Current price: From THB 8.5625M based on a current FazWaz listing updated in summer 2026 and checked on 23 August 2026. This is a lower market anchor, not a guaranteed price: the exact unit, availability, tenure, furniture package and transaction terms need to be confirmed separately with a specialist.
We show the lowest of the prices the brokerage boards publish: their figures for the same unit differ by a few per cent, and none of them is the developer’s price list. We ask the developer for the current price, availability and payment terms on the unit you are looking at, and go through them with you personally.

Best for: An owner-occupier or long-stay buyer who wants to be near Bang Tao Beach without living in a compact studio; published apartment sizes start at roughly 62.5 sqm.; Someone who prefers a 34-unit condominium that can be understood in one inspection rather than a large multi-phase resort development.; A couple or family that values genuinely different formats — standard two-bedroom, large pool-access apartment and penthouse — rather than only choosing between floors.; A buyer who wants a completed building and the ability to inspect the real finish, common areas and selected apartment before committing.; A foreign purchaser prepared to verify the foreign quota and legal tenure of the exact unit instead of relying on a generic promise that foreign ownership is possible.; may not suit: Buyers seeking Phuket's lowest entry price through a compact studio: the published Bright Phuket range has no studios and the lower public price anchor is about THB 8.56M.; Anyone expecting a large resort with multiple pools, in-house restaurants and extensive hotel services; the confirmed Bright Phuket facility set is much more compact.; A buyer unwilling to verify tenure at unit level, because current inventory includes both foreign-quota and leasehold offerings..
What we confirm before booking
A short, specific to the project list. We request these from the developer and go through them with you before any payment.
- the payment schedule and the booking fee as they stand today
- the legal entity in the SPA and the payee’s bank details
- the title format and what is registered against the unit
- the contractual area of the chosen unit, and which basis it is measured on
Disputed and unknown information
This keeps the open points in one place. A missing or disputed fact is not treated as a conclusion.
- The exact completion and handover date is inconsistent: the official site reported 99.8% completion in September 2025 and a March 2026 handover, while portals variously show 2024, March 2025 or August 2025. By August 2026 the property is being sold as completed.
- Current inventory includes both foreign-quota units and leasehold units. The selected apartment's tenure, quota availability and legal documents need to be confirmed before any reservation deposit is paid.
- The bathroom count for the 292.5 sqm penthouse conflicts across sources: the official project page says 2 bathrooms, while some market listings show 3. The selected penthouse plan and documents should control.
